OpenText BPM

OpenText BPM (Business Process Management) software module helps companies to automate their business processes (workflows), from the simplest to the most complex ones, thus enabling a rapid response to customer requirements, while achieving corporate growth and development.

How does OpenText BPM work?

The client’s operator in the office or headquarters can scan input documents (e.g. customer demand) through integrated Open Text Enterprise Scan application, which can (in case the document has a barcode or other information) automatically recognize the type of document and fill in index data (attributes). Also, all necessary index data or only one field (for example, registration number) can be entered manually by the operator, after which the system can fill remaining index fields from the data base (e.g. name, last name, tax identification number, address, etc.). After completing the scanning process, the operator starts an automated business process by clicking on the “Process” button, where each document type (request, post, procurement, contract…) is being forwarded to the relevant user or group of users for processing and approval. In this way a small number of people can quickly and efficiently process large amount of documents from different locations. This considerably improves the traditional business processes in companies, in which a large number of people working on a document, print a particular subject in dozens of copies, physically sends out from branches to headquarters of the company, paper is being physically carried from table to table, without precise control, with large deceleration and frequent delays and/or failure to execute a business process to the end.
